Up and coming Indie Soul Pop band Lovecoast is making a stop on their summer tour right here in Squamish for Wind Festival! The band brings "together modern day indie pop and blue-eyed ’70s R&B” (Ride the Tempo), and will have you dancing all afternoon. Lovecoast finds inspiration in modern acts like the Cat Empire and Lake Street Dive, and classic legends such as Billie Holiday and Bruce Springsteen. Squamish holds special roots for Lovecoast singer Danielle Sweeny who was born in Squamish and graduated from Howe Sound Secondary School. The band played their first show at the famous Shady Tree Pub and had their first festival appearance just up the road at The World Ski and Snowboard Festival opening for Five Alarm Funk. The band now resides in Victoria, BC and will be making tour stops around BC this summer at various festivals, bars, and events. We are stoked to have them as a part of the Squamish Wind Fest!
Lovecoast will take over the U Siyam Pavilion on July 29th at 2:00PM to 3:00PM for an amazing FREE all ages show!
