Artist terms & Conditions
I understand that if my application is successful, I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of participation as outlined below and in any subsequent contracts and/or agreements as requested by the Wind Festival for the Arts team.
Artists are expected to completely self-organize and deliver workshops/demonstrations. Wind Festival team will coordinate activity location and timing within the festival and pay agreed upon fees. Artists must demonstrate a capacity and professional ability to organize the proposed activity.
Artists are responsible for complying with health and safety rules.
Artists are solely responsible for obtaining all permits, licenses, insurance, and approvals reasonably required to conduct your proposed activity at the Wind Festival for the Arts.
Will arrive on time for schedule vendor load in.
Will share on social media and other marketing channels about your participation in the Wind Festival for the Arts. A minimum of 2 posts are expected from all participating artists. More are encouraged!
Artists will invoice for the amounts agreed upon.
Artists understand that the Wind Festival for the Arts is not responsible for damage to tools, use of specialized equipment or otherwise as a result of using these items during proposed activities by either the artist or the participant.
By checking the box in the application form, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the terms and conditions above. I will not hold the Squamish Arts Council or the Squamish Wind Festival for the Arts or any of it's affiliated parties, staff, and/or volunteers responsible for loss, damage or theft of any items. I understand that I am an independent vendor and assume all liability of on account of or in any way related to my participation.
